Although many same-sex couple have waited years to get married under current federal law spouses in same-sex marriages are denied eligibility.  However, at this stage a commitment ceremony can be conducted to give social awareness of your union.

As a couple you will be asked to give yourselves freely and generously into the hands of the one you love, and in doing so, each of you will receives the love and trust of the other.  But even as that gift is shared by two people who are in love, it also touches the friends and family members who in various ways support and contribute to the relationship
